I’ve run out of the good stuff and I’m reduced to drinking random crap that’s accumulated at the back of the liquor cabinet. I basically only buy spirits duty free - I’m allergic to paying full retail - so this is clearly an indicator that I’m not traveling enough.
Review of Old Crow bourbon whiskey: anything can be made drinkable with enough ice, but basically it’s only useful as a mixer.

That’s a good question - probably getting on a bit. But if this is the bottle aged version, I shudder to think what straight off the shelf is like.

Given that Wikipedia says that it is just Jim Beam with even less ageing... that's a hard pass from me.

I had it once. It tasted like they only charred half the barrel and said good enough.
